...well unless you have a nice long barrel on your marker and a big tree to hide behind within good range of the mark, and you're sure that your in range enough that your paintballs won't bounce off the target on impact but hurts like heck anyways yet doesn't count since nothing was spilt. Then fire away..." (William Prescott, Bunker Hill; Me, Middle of Nowhere America)
This was fun, the first time I've ever gone out paintballing. Not bad. Well not as bad as I thought. Company party, so yes, I made my anti-social self make an appearance. There's no 'I' in misanthrope, you know. Wait, yeah there is. Anyways, it was not bad at all. Granted, I no longer able to pull any leaps and somersaults that I wasn't able to perform earlier in my youth, nor the shoulder rolls and double-gun leaping towards the enemy like those who have gone before, but it was fun nonetheless.
Slow and steady wins the race right, as long as you don't move conspiciously too much or wear bright colored clothing that screams "Shoot me, I'm right here". Though camo does help quite a bit. Or maybe if I had a Jack Bauer man bag (a.k.a. The JackSack&trade) to hold my nonexistent various asundry of pseudo-para military paraphernalia, maybe I'd feel a lot cooler. "Chloe, download the NOC&trade list to my PDA. NOW!"
Until next time, I shall possibly research and procure some surplus camo duds to improve my performance. I have not yet begun to fight.
P.S. And you know, I don't think that photo showed my best side. Thanks Steve-O.
